Description
Allende Nature is a red wine made from 100% Tempranillo grapes by the Allende winery in Briones (La Rioja).
The grapes come from the Las Cuestas de Valpierre estate, and it is vinified where the winery is located in Briones.
This vineyard has an average age of approximately 30 years, and was planted on clay soils with gravel.
Winemaking
The grapes are selected in the vineyard and on arrival at the winery, they are placed in stainless steel tanks without being trodden. Here, it is fermented at a controlled temperature, 28ºC, for 16 days, while macerating with the skins.
Malolactic fermentation takes place in American oak barrels, where it remains for 5 months. It is bottled without fining or filtering, and no sulphites are added in the process.
Taste
Allende Nature is a fresh, tasty and full-bodied red wine. With completely clean and elegant aromas. In the mouth it is powerful and with a great balance, ample and tasty, combining fruity freshness and subtle structure of a high quality wine.
A genuine representative of the greatness of Rioja wines.
Miguel Ángel de Gregorio, who has become one of the best oenologists in Spain, shows us that it is possible to make a natural wine with a high level of exigency. Moreover, it is a wine with no added sulphites.
