Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
The NV Oloroso Cuco, produced from Palomino grapes from Gibalbin and Santa Lucia vineyards and aged oxidatively for 18 years in Sanlucar de Barrameda in topped up barrels, has a deep amber color, a nose of dried apricots, sweet cherries, is aromatic and expressive, it somehow brings to mind the nose of a Palo Cortado. The palate is warm, medium- to full-bodied, round and wide, unusually saline for an Oloroso. Very drinkable. It represents very good value and a good introduction to (elegant) Oloroso. Drink 2013-2015.
