Description
Clos Lentiscus Croac Croac Pink is a young rosé wine made from Ull de Llebre and Xarel-lo Vermell grapes by the Clos Lentiscus winery in the Penedès DO.
These grapes come from vineyards planted on calcareous sandy soils cultivated in the protected Natural Park of Garraf (Penedès) and following the principles of biodynamic agriculture. Ull de Llebre is the name given in Catalonia to the red tempranillo variety.
Elaboration
The grapes are harvested by hand at the optimum ripening point of both varieties. After direct pressing of the grapes, alcoholic fermentation begins with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks.
The wine is aged for 8 months in a stainless steel tank. Finally, the wine is bottled without filtering, fining or sulphiting.
Taste
Clos Lentiscus Croac Croac Pink is a fresh rosé wine with pleasant fruity notes. In the mouth it is rich, lively, light and refreshing, a delicious taste, perfect for repeating!
A natural, calm and crisp wine
Clos Lentiscus Croac Croac Pink is a beautiful homage to nature. The mastic tree from which this wine derives its name is a humble shrub that has often served as a place of refuge for peasants and a place to sit and tell stories from father to son.
This is a tradition to which the owner of the Clos Lentiscus winery has paid tribute with this wonderful wine.
This delicious wine in the gastronomic field is perfect as an aperitif, and can accompany sushi and some combinations of meals containing rice, fish, seafood and pork.
And you, have you had the delicious experience of tasting this amazing wine? Leave us your comments!
