Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
The old Encrucijado has been renamed to 2016 Agostado, but the wine comes from exactly the same vineyards and the process is exactly the same. 2016 is a more balanced and elegant wine that also developed more flor, which also helps to have a sharper and more austere wine. The palate is fuller than the 2015 UBE Maina La Charanga that I also tasted next to it, with more volume (it has other varieties and has less biological aging). 1,800 bottles produced.
