The NV Oloroso 1/7 Anticuario is also a VORS (the official category of a sherry certified to be over 30 years of age), but it’s believed to have an average age close to 80 years, taken from only seven ancient butts. This is not necessarily more concentrated than the 1/14, but it’s more incisive and complex. It’s super intense and concentrated, pungent, but it felt closed and needed time in the glass. It has high volatility, but it’s not alcoholic, despite the 22% alcohol on the label.
