The 2017 Munjebel PA is another luminous and bright Etna red with a lean appearance and an almost fragile state of being. The ‘PA’ stands for Contrada Feudo di Mezzo Porcaria, or the name of the vineyard site where the fruit originates. Like the other wines in this series, the bouquet offers pretty floral notes of wild rose and mountain herb, but there are also raw aromas of aniseed, tar and smoke that come from the all-natural approach to winemaking.
