Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
The same as with the Amontillado and Manzanilla, the NV Oloroso was selected from a winery, as Sacristía AB is a négociant. In this case it was sourced from the Urium winery in Sanlúcar de Barrameda and I tasted the Saca 2016, the 2016 bottling. It’s heady and aromatic, with varnished aromas of noble woods, tobacco, spices and a sweet sensation reminiscent of apricots. The palate is full-bodied, with flavors reminiscent of brandy, roasted nuts, incense and cigar ash.
